A rare day with sunshine both inside and outside the studio. I'm playing around with ideas for a project I'm working on, and thought you might like to see it. The background rays are gilded with a different gold size to the one I use on my flower letters and I've used transfer leaf for them. The shine isn't as bright and they're flat so they contrast nicely with the centre and outer rays which are lovely and shiny and slightly domed (gilded with Kolner miniatum and loose leaf).
