We made history as the first elementary school in Georgia to receive the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Guardianship School Distinction, presented by the Georgia Aquarium. This honor celebrates years of student-led sustainability efforts, including recycling, composting, energy conservation, water-quality monitoring, and activities that promote environmental science. Our amazing students were led by our talented science teachers, Mrs. Ranasinghe and Mr. Harbert, as well a
